The Unione dei Comuni dell'Anglona e della Bassa Valle del Coghinas (Union of Municipalities of Anglona and Lower Coghinas Valley), thanks to a call for tenders on the valorisation of archaeological and environmental sites, with the participation of the Municipality of Bulzi, in collaboration with the ProLoco of Bulzi and in agreement with the Simbranos Cooperative of Bulzi and the Integrated Museum System of the Diocese of Tempio Ampurias, will expand the tourist offer of the Municipality of Bulzi from 16 July 2024 for the entire summer period.
Visitors will be able to visit the field site of the Church of St Peter of Images, which has been managed by the Simbranos cooperative since 2018, with extended opening days, with the following daily opening times:
Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Church of San Sebastiano, in the urban centre of Bulzi, where the liturgical furnishings of the Church of San Pietro delle Immagini, with the important Wooden Group, as well as the Retablo and a collection of the statues of the country churches, will be open to visitors for the first time, with the following opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
With this important guided tour service, the small town of Bulzi will give the opportunity to enjoy the important cultural, archaeological and architectural heritage and traditions that have their origins in the heart of history from the Neolithic to the present day.
